Please use the following troubleshooting guide to avoid return shipping cost and inconveniences caused by return shipping.  

 

 

1. When KoolR/KoolR plus is plugged in, the controller does not display temperature at all. Check your outlet to make sure there is power going to outlet by plugging in a lamp. Fuse may be blown and can be easily replaced with spare fuse provided on back of controller. Click on below image for instructions.

 

2. When unit is plugged in, the controller displays incomplete numbers (numbers are missing some segments) or showing gibberish. Controller is corrupt and needs to be replaced. Click on below image for order form and instructions.

 

3. When Nuvo cooling unit is plugged in, the controller does not display temperature at all. Check your outlet to make sure there is power going to outlet by plugging in a lamp. Fuse may be blown and can be easily replaced with spare fuse provided on back of controller. Click on below image for instructions.

 

4. When unit is plugged in, the controller displays incomplete numbers (numbers are missing some segments) or showing gibberish. Controller is corrupt and needs to be replaced. Click on below image for order form and instructions.

 

 

Before attempting to do the following UNPLUG COOLING UNIT POWER CORD !

 

5. Cooling unit part loose or touching and odd noises occur. Click on below image for instructions.

Strain Relief Out: This occurs in rough handling of unit during shipping.

Transformer Out: This occurs in rough handling of unit during shipping, but can be easily remedied.

Copper Tube Touching: Rattling noises can result from copper tubes touching.

Damage Coil Fins: This occurs in rough handling of unit during shipping or installation.

If all the above did not help you and you wish to order a replacement, please make sure you have the following Requirements:

  • The cooling unit is less than 1 year old.
  • I have a dated bill of sale.
  • I have consulted the troubleshooting and diagnostics.
